About us
A live music company from Bandung, on stage since 2006
Willy Music Entertainment provides music for events, birthdays, anniversaries and weddings in various music formats such as acoustic, band, semi-orchestra and full orchestra.
We have also collaborated with many artists such as Regina Indonesian Idol, Angela July X Factor, Betharia Sonata, Reza Artamevia and Citra Scholastika, and we have played in many cities, including abroad in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
We also run Willy Music School, where our own teachers prepare the next generation of players — some of whom now perform with us.

Guzheng, erhu and dizi — played live
For Chinese weddings, New Year celebrations and family gatherings, our Si Wei, Wu Wei and Liu Wei ensembles bring traditional instruments to the stage. Prefer something in between? Our Full Band + Guzheng formation mixes both worlds.

Questions we get before every event
Do you play for weddings in Bandung and outside the city?
Yes. We are based in Bandung and regularly play weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events across the city and beyond — we have also performed in other cities and abroad, including Kuala Lumpur.
Which formation should I choose for my wedding?
It depends on the room and the moment you want to create. Acoustic formations (3–5 musicians) suit intimate rooms and cocktail hours; Band and Full Band fit lively receptions; Semi Orchestra and Full Orchestra are for grand ballrooms and processions. Tell us your venue and we will recommend one.
Do you provide music for Chinese events?
Yes. Our Chinese ensembles — Si Wei, Wu Wei and Liu Wei — feature guzheng, erhu, dizi and hulusi, and we also offer a Full Band + Guzheng formation.
Can we request our own songs?
Of course. Song requests and special arrangements are part of what we do, from Disney soundtracks to 80’s and 90’s classics and current pop.
Is a live orchestra really live?
Yes — every musician on stage is playing. That is the point of a real live orchestra, and it is what our clients remember most.
